VLOGGITY ASTROMANCY INTERPRETATION: Mr. Merc Goes Direct & Saturn Goes Retro. What Happens When There's No More Rules?
Hello, Beloved Earthbound Fam!
Today, Mr. Merc goes direct and Father Sun moves into his own house - the house of Leo, where the truth and honor of our hearts meets the strength of our egos, and in just three days, Saturn, the planet that rules the conforming or discipline of ego, aka KARMA, is going retrograde for almost the rest of this year... not to mention that Father Sun and King Jupe will be in a cazimi - or exact conjunction - on July 29th, and one day later, the Nodes of Fate will take their places in delivering us into the Age of Aquarius.
What does all of this mean? Well, let’s have a little powwow and I’ll tell you what it is I’m interpreting in the ABOVE and how I think it might reign down on us here BELOW. As always, reel this in or release it freely. This is just my interpretation. Exercise your free will as to whether or not this message holds resonance with your thoughts. As my Guides wrote in my dream journal this morning:

They also mentioned the song, I SAW THE SIGNS, by a band called Ace of Base, who I’m not really familiar with - nor am I familiar with this song in its full length, but when I read the entirety of the lyrics, they were super appropo for this particular astromancy interpretation. You can read them for yourself if you’d like. Maybe there’s a message there for you. Maybe not. You decide.
On to Merc’s directness and Saturn’s retro...
Mr. Merc (Mercury) going direct is bringing clarity in communication, clarity in thought, and clarity in the ability to maneuver through the decentralizing of the habitual systems we’ve grown accustomed to concerning finance and wealth, health and well being, regulations that we’ve believed were ‘just the way life is’ and the way we offer and accept support, love, respect and honor from others.
North Node - the node which represents the direction in which we are collectively moving - is going into Aquarius is bringing the collective into a brand new evolutionary paradigm toward innovation, new forms of, and new ways to utilize technology without systematic control mechanisms.
South Node - the node which represents the direction in which we are leaving behind - is going into Leo. Leo, in its positive aspects relays to us the deepest parts of our hearts’ abilities... the sense of honor, compassion, respect, loyalty, comradary and community... like a lion’s pride. For instance, according to the Googles, the key social dynamics of a lion’s pride is:
MATRIARCHAL IN NATURE.
Matriarchal Core: Prides are built around related females who stay together for life, ensuring stability and cooperative decision-making.
Shared Rearing: Lionesses nurse and protect all cubs in the group collectively rather than just their own.
Cooperative Hunting: Females coordinate tactical group hunts to secure food efficiently for the entire family.
Territorial Defense: Coalition males patrol and defend the shared borders against outside threats to keep the family safe
But there are two sides to every coin, and the negative aspects of Leo have the same potential to develop as the positive ones do if we aren’t aware of our how it is we are interacting with the world around us. Leo is the ADULT FIRE sign, so it’s important to be able to recognize our childish reactions, and mold them into adult responses, especially because the negative aspects of Leo tend to bring out the judge-y judgerson’s in us. They tend to pull our egoic ‘holy-er than thou’ mentalities to the forefront of our minds AND our mouths. They tend to make us feel like we aren’t just in the spotlight, but that we ARE the spotlight, and our stage is the only stage worth paying attention to. They can yank on our greedy side, our prideful side and our arrogant side, triggering us to shut others down for their beliefs and roaring at them our own beliefs in our loudest and most ferocious voices. There is absolutely nothing wrong with self confidence, and, in fact, self confidence is going to be required going forward, as you will see, but we should be cognizant of whether or not our self confidence is coming from the heart or the ego. Leo possesses great integrity and can be a fantastic leaders, but Leo can also demand to be the center of attention, creating an unhealthy sense of self indulgence over an equitable distribution of resources for all, putting them in BOSS mode over the role of LEADERSHIP. See what I’m sayin’? The means in which each of us possesses and utilizes the Leo energetics will be on full display as the cazimi - the perfect conjunction - of King Jupe and Father Sun come into fruition up there, and it will be important to be able to check ourselves, as to how we are using this fiery fuel when it comes to treatment of others, treatment of ourselves, and the treatment of our beautiful Mama Gaia. Jupe and Father Sun will be cazimi-ing at the 6th degree of Leo’s house. The number ‘6’ is the number of THE MOTHER, and is representative of comfort, unconditional love and nurturing through self-responsibility. If you look at the number ‘6’, it even looks like a pregnant belly, does it not?
Moving on...
Saturn going retrograde is like ripping the safety net out from underneath someone after they’ve already taken a trusted “free fall”. Can you catch yourself and recover or will you plunge to the bottom?
You see, when Saturn is in direct motion, Saturn IS the systematic control mechanisms. Saturn IS the habitual systems we’ve grown accustomed to. Saturn is the ruler of rules, laws, regulations and traditions. He rules conventional business handlings, smart money maneuvers and orthodox negotiations. He is the ruler of time and seasons, and he is also the ruler of karma. Most do not have a complete sense of what the word KARMA actually means so let me emphasize here that ‘karma’ is just a word that means “personal growth through learning lessons”. And sometimes those lessons are hard. A fantastic analogy for Saturn’s stern teaching and disciplinarianism is this:
Think of Saturn like a military boot camp Sergeant with a brand new crew of fresh, unadulterated young bloods. When the new soldiers are inducted into boot camp, they are expected to do what they’re told when they’re told, to the best of their ability, and then get BETTER. If this effort is given in the new soldier’s authenticity, things may be uncomfortable, but they will make it through boot camp without too much scathing. BUT! If they feck up or feck around, there’s no doubt they’ll be “finding out”, if you catch my drift.
When Saturn is direct, these are the energetics he grounds down into our psyches. But, when Saturn goes retrograde, he is off duty, and that guy’s letting go of all of those reigns of rules that he usually holds us accountable to. So, the question is, do you know how to play by the rules when there are no rules... When the rules dissolve and everything they were suppressing rises to the surface? Will you be able to swim through the tides of this paradigm shifting’s change?
Yes, yes you will, because Mr. Merc going direct in Cancer is giving each of us some proverbial “arm floaties”, through the energetic ability to navigate this dissolving control with clear thoughts, clear minds, clear communication and clear knowledge. Merc’s giving us the ability to ask questions with curiosity and make decisions with confidence based on how we interpret the information we are receiving. He is empowering us with the ability to pay our attention - the currency of the Universe - to what resonates with our hearts and our souls, and exude that vibration out into the world. Not only that, but Mercury will be trining Venus while he goes direct. A trine is a very loving and favorable aspect in the zodiac, for those unfamiliar with a trine’s energy. Venus is the goddess of love, equality, beauty, justice, wealth - in all its forms, and well being. To me, this is yet another confirmation from the Universe that if we keep ourselves in a higher state of mind... If we can utilize discernment in what people are telling us by ONLY accepting what truly resonates with us and letting the rest of it go, allowing thoughts to pass through our minds without letting them get stuck in the egoic mental webs that compromise our hearts... If we can make a promise to ourselves to make a daily effort to be better tomorrow than we were today, even in the smallest efforts, and let LOVE lead the way, then YEAH!
This is a LOUD AND CLEAR message from the Universe saying that every little human is gonna be alright. At least that’s what I interpret.
It might look like the world is falling apart, bit by bit, my Beloved Earthbound Fam, but in my expanded vision, what’s truly happening, whether we can see it with our human eyes or not, is that the world is restructuring itself without our permission. Ground control is not reaching Major Tom, my friends, meaning we’re going to become very aware that we have no control... OVER ANYTHING... except OURSELVES AND OUR RESPONSES.
We’re about to receive a big dose of that adult swimming lesson, and it’s time to remove the arm floaties, roll over on our backs and float by ourselves out here in the space that’s being created. Saturn can’t wait to be off duty in his retrograde. In Aries, Saturn is in his “fourth house”, which is all about family, so this is like a military soldier getting time off on leave to go home. He doesn’t care what happens while he’s gone. He’s ready to grab some brews and BBQ and hang out with the people, places and things that he loves. He’s going to let go and be fancy free, and he’s not giving us another thought until he goes direct again in December. On December 12th, to be exact. That’s the 12:12 portal, which I will not get into today, but it’s worth your time to look up its meaning of passage. Just throw the MEANING OF THE 12:12 PORTAL into the googles, and see what you find. If you desire. Again, your free will is your own super power, so utilize as you see fit.
So, to sum up, the question that is beckoning us for an answer is - how will we behave without Saturn’s strictness? Time will tell, because Saturn, who rules TIME, is taking TIME OFF. We are responsible for ourselves and our actions. No one is holding us accountable. It’s going to be a huge lesson in adulting for the entire Earthbound collective. The concepts are not so different if ya give it a good think.
